Sunday Mornings

9:45 - 10:45 a.m.

The Coming King

Led by Phil Krauss in rooms 1-4

For thousands of years before Jesus' birth, the prophets pointed God's people toward a promised Messiah, the Coming King. This Advent class explores those Old Testament promises, tracing how Scripture testifies to Christ long before the manger. Together we'll study key prophecies, see Jesus shining through the pages of the Old Testament, and reflect on how Israel prepared for his arrival.

Every Heart Prepare

Led by Josh Kittleman and Dan Young in the Gym

We do so much to get ready for Christmas- decorating our homes, yards, and church with evergreens, lights, nativity scenes, and gifts. This class explores those familiar practices through the lens of God's Word, reflecting on how they help us see Christ and prepare for his coming. Coordinated with this year's Advent theme and devotional book, the study blends teaching and table discussion as a simple way to prepare for the devotions you'll do in your own household.

Reading the Bible Together: the Birth Narratives

Led by Marie Schlosser in the library

Join us as we read about the early Church in class together to better understand the epistle readings we hear during Sunday worship. This practical discussion-based study will enrich your experience of Scripture during our weekly services. There is no homework or prep for this class, so come ready to grow closer in your understanding of the beginnings of the Church.
